Twelve men and a horse open a mine 75 km above the Arctic Circle.

The railway reaches Narvik
Our own line to an ice-free port, so ore can ship all winter.

Luleå steelworks opens
We start making our own steel instead of only selling ore.

Oxelösund opens on the Baltic, with the first ships in our colours.

The Kallak open pit
A second mine, open to the sky, doubles our output.

Our first wind farm
We start making the power our furnaces will need.

First fossil-free steel
